The Ukes of Hazzy

The Ukes of Hazzy are a merry group of (mostly) ukulele players who meet for a couple of hours every Tuesday evening in Haslingden to play and sing wonderful songs and have fun.

In addition to the informal Tuesday sessions we also perform throughout the year, primarily at charity fundraising events.

You'd be made most welcome! We’re primarily a ukulele group, so as long as you have one, or something that vaguely resembles one (banjo, banjolele, etc), you're in. If you play something other than a uke and you think it might complement our sound, do get in touch anyway. Either way, contact us before you're thinking of coming along and we can let you know where we're going to be.

We choose tunes from Jim's Songbook on Tuesday nights, and we use our own Ukes of Hazzy gig book for our gig performances.

There's no membership fee or charges (although you may be asked to pop a couple of quid into the pot if we have to hire a room) - the only regular money you'll need is for a drink from the bar!

If you're interested in booking The Ukes of Hazzy, do get in touch. In the first instance, you can do this via Facebook. It would help us to have as much information as possible: date, time, venue, nature of event etc. We'll respond pretty quickly to your initial enquiry, but it may take a couple of days to get a definitive ‘yay’ or ‘nay’ regarding your event while we consult the Hazzies and ensure we can gather enough players to satisfy your requirements.
